We do not sell your Personal Information. We may share your Personal Information only in the following circumstances:
6.1 Service Providers and Processors
We share Personal Information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Services, including Wix (website hosting, payment processing, and platform infrastructure). These providers are contractually obligated to use your Personal Information only for the purposes we specify and to protect it in accordance with applicable law.
6.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your Personal Information if required to do so by law, or in good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, such as a subpoena, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Spanish Tutoring & Translation by Ivy, LLC, our users, or the public.
6.3 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or other business transfer involving Spanish Tutoring & Translation by Ivy, LLC, your Personal Information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. If this results in a material change to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you.

💡 In Plain English
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, when the law requires it, in the case of a business transfer, or when you specifically consent.
7. Data Retention
We retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When Personal Information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it securely.
If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your Personal Information within a reasonable period, subject to any legal retention requirements.
8. Security
We take the security of your Personal Information seriously. Our Services are built on the Wix platform, which employs enterprise-grade security measures including:
● Around-the-clock monitoring
● The strongest commercially available encryption standards
● Anti-fraud protection
● PCI DSS-compliant payment infrastructure
While we implement these safeguards, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and to be cautious when sharing Personal Information online.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

When participating in group tutoring sessions or using any interactive feature of the Services, we strongly recommend that you do not share sensitive information — such as your home address, financial details, government ID numbers, or any information that could be used to locate or contact you — with other users in the session.
11. International Data Transfers
Our Services are operated primarily within the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that your Personal Information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers (including Wix) maintain facilities.
As noted in Wix’s Privacy Policy, user data may be stored in data centers located in the United States, Ireland, and Israel. The European Commission has determined that Israel provides an adequate level of protection for the Personal Information of EU residents.
For data transfers from the European Union, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to countries that the European Commission has not deemed adequate, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as adopted by the EU Commission. We do not rely on the invalidated EU-US Privacy Shield framework.
